Wrights Plastics were tasked with designing and manufacturing 1500 sneeze screens for Arcadia to protect both staff and members of the public.

The brief was simple, the screens must be effective in creating a contagion barrier, long lasting and not be intrusive to the public.

Wrights Plastics recommended 5mm clear substrate (many variables available from our extensive stock) sneeze screens, which are clear and durable to meet the clients specifications.

Various screens were installed in retail outlets across the country, to help protect both customers and staff from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

After an initial conversation, we were tasked with providing a solution to protect employees and customers from airborne, virus-containing droplets caused by speaking, sneezing, laughing or coughing, that could infect those with face-to-face interactions.


Wrights Plastics manufactured custom designed sneeze screens to limit exposure and reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread between employees and customers.

The spokesperson for Arcadia said “We are really happy with the protective screens, it gives us peace of mind that our staff and our customers are protected.”

The sneeze screens are installed in their extensive group of retail outlets to ensure they are doing everything they can to make their employees and customers feel safe. Each screen features quality acrylic and was custom designed to provide effective shielding between staff and customers
